About the position

The Field Service Engineer will be a key member of the Customer Success team installing & maintaining our high-tech software & hardware products.


This position's main objectives are to guarantee the smooth running and availability of Lectra and Gerber's CAM solutions at our Customer sites.


In order to ensure the best level of performance & reliability on all products, the Field Service Engineer will make on-site interventions to support our Customers in an effective & conscientious way according to the service agreement and ensure the completion of all preventive maintenance tasks.



Key Requirements

•Carry out pre-installation, installation, audit, and maintenance of CAD/CAM equipment in the field.

•Conduct customer training on CAM application and maintenance.

•Troubleshoot and repair CAM equipment when there are technical issues, including but not limited to software installation, parts replacement, and remote report generation.

•Promote good maintenance of CAM equipment; promote Lectra authentic maintenance kits and other consumables.

•Maintain good relationships with customers, able to demonstrate Lectra service value. Ensure customers understand service contract value.


About the profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics engineering or Mechanical engineering, with electrical knowledge or Electrical Engineering with mechanical knowledge

•2+ years experience as a field engineer or in a customer service department in a high-tech sector is appreciated

•Knowledge of CAD/CAM equipment, network configuration, automation, and robotics systems

•Familiar with all windows platforms

•Strong communication and customer service skills

•Skills to effectively troubleshoot client support needs

• Customer-oriented, willing to maximize the customer satisfaction

•Dynamic and willing to learn

•Fluency in English is required
