The term “hiding in plain sight” isn’t meant to make you feel foolish. We don’t want you to walk away thinking, “How could I have missed that? It was right there, staring at me the whole time, but I was too ignorant to even see it!”
Like, sure, you did miss them. But we won’t fault you for it. Most everybody else missed them too. So maybe the goal here is unity — to find comfort amongst a ton of other people who also need our help seeing them.
