I had the privilege of attending #SPE #ATCE2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana over the past few days. Personally, it was extremely significant and sentimental to me as not only did I attend my first ATCE but I also received the award for Regional Young Professional Member Oustanding Service in the Latin America and Caribbean Region. I owe thanks to quite a few folks for pushing me towards this moment. Pipeline Construction Completion. Two key events which forms part of the Construction completion and regarded as Pre-Commissioning for pipelines are: 1.       Gauging – conducted to ensure the line is free of obstructions prior to putting into service 2.       Strength Testing - conducted to verify the overall integrity of the line and components (when the medium used is water is also known as a hydro test) The STORK/FLUOR Team along with our sub-contractor Tucker Energy Services Ltd successfully executed both the gauging (with minimal indications) and hydro test in the first attempt. Months of detailed and integrated planning, dedication and teamwork along with the appropriate level of contingency contributed to the achievement of these two key milestones. #Pipelines #STORK/FLUOR #TuckerEnergy #HydroTesting #Gauging

What a great two weeks working with Abrahim Ali and Jerome Hosein with Tucker Energy Services out of Trinidad/Tobago and Timothy Marker out of Midland, Texas. They all went through Top Guns Supervisor training and finished it off with RCBL training using Probe tools to practice with in our test well. Best of luck for your wireline careers.
