🌟 Internship Spotlight: Jieruei Chang 🚀 A Summer of Innovation and Growth at Appier 🌟 Hi, I’m Jieruei! As a rising freshman at MIT, I had the opportunity to intern as a backend engineer at Appier this summer. Each day at Appier was a new learning experience, filled with challenges I eagerly embraced. My work often involved problem-solving, experimenting with different approaches, and documenting my findings. The guidance and support from my mentors, who were always patient and ready to help, were invaluable in my journey. Adjusting to Appier’s warm and welcoming environment was a breeze, though I was particularly thankful for the office’s air conditioning amidst Taiwan’s heat. The friendships I formed and the collaborative culture at Appier gave me a deep appreciation for their commitment to innovation. The most rewarding aspect of my internship was undoubtedly the people at Appier. Their genuine enthusiasm for computer science was infectious, and I quickly learned the importance of teamwork. Through my experiences, I honed my communication skills, learned to tailor presentations for different audiences, and embraced challenges as opportunities to develop creative solutions. In summary, my summer at Appier was an incredible experience. The hands-on learning and exceptional mentorship provided me with invaluable insights. Appier Happier Summer Intern: Chun-Mao Lai 🚀 Kickstarting My Journey at Appier Hi everyone, I’m Michael, an incoming Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of California, San Diego. I’m excited to share my fantastic summer internship experience as an AI Research Scientist at Appier. 🔍 Experimenting and Learning Every morning, our team holds a daily sync meeting to discuss experiment progress, share interesting findings, and set goals for the day. My day involves designing experiments, conducting literature reviews, and analyzing results. 🤝 Building Connections The supportive nature of my colleagues has dramatically shaped my experience at Appier. They helped me familiarize myself with Appier's culture and environment and generously shared their insights into their work lives. 🌟 Office Adventures What I loved most was the freedom to work from any spot in the office. It was exciting to explore different corners of the office while working. 🎯 Closing Thoughts My key takeaway from Appier is the importance of strong connections within a team.
