𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗨𝗣 𝗣𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗨𝗠𝗦 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 “𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟” RuggON (a division of Ubiqconn) is proud to be an official technology partner of Haupt Racing Team (HRT), which has managed to win a place on the podium every weekend since The Green Hell turned into foggy chaos on June 1. The Green Hell is the nickname for the famous Nürburgring 24-hour race, and this year was the first time event organizers had to end the race after only 7 hours of racing – because a thick fog had settled on the Nürburgring and remained there until the next day. One of the images from the race (below) shows an HRT technician using one of the team’s RuggON ruggedized tablets to fine tune one of the team’s AMG Mercedes race cars. The same blue Mercedes can be seen racing in the fog in the other image. HRT CEO Ulrich Fritz said his team’s 24-hour strategy was working perfectly when the race had to be paused due to the thick fog. Unfortunately, the fog refused to budge and the organizers were forced to end the race 14 hours later, stranding Team HRT’s lead car in fourth position – which was still a very impressive performance for such a famous race. Since then, Team HRT has managed to get podium places in each of the weekly racing series it entered.
