We are proud to be at the forefront championing for the law enforcement’s efforts in improving security by donating 50 motorcycles costing #175Million Tanzanian Shillings to the Geita Police Force. This contribution aligns with our ongoing commitment to fostering safety and security in the region and supporting government initiatives to enhance law and order. The Minister of Home Affairs, Hon. Eng. Hamad M. Y. Masauni (PM) who was also the Guest of Honor, expressed gratitude for GGML’s continuous support to law enforcement, noting that the donation of the motorcycles will significantly bolster police operations. AngloGold Ashanti’s Senior Vice President (Africa), Terry Strong added that the motorcycles will provide the officers with greater mobility, allowing them to respond quickly to emergencies, patrol more effectively, and enhance their presence in rural areas which are not easily accessed by ward police officers entrusted to enforce community policing and engagement.
