Tanzania Occupational Health and Safety Association (TOHASA) is a national professional association founded on 8th August 2022 by 13 Health and Safety professionals from different industries such as Telecommunication, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, financial, Construction and Mining. TOHASA was registered on 4th December 2022 under The Societies Act (CAP.337 R.E. 2002) with registration number S.A.23338 in the Registrar of Societies in the Ministry of Home Affairs. TOHASA aims to focus on supporting the development of world-class health and safety practices, providing a collective voice for the profession, adding value to Tanzanian industries as well as working to improve health and safety for future generations.
