Tech & Media Convergency (TMC) had a pleasure to attend the Women In ICT Day that was hosted by The Ministry of Information, Communication and Information Technology and the ICT Commission of Tanzania Our CEO, Asha D. Abinallah was a panelist in a conversation on "Investment Ecosystem for Women-led Startups in Africa". She also moderated a Conversation tittled, "INSPIRATIONAL TALK: A Woman as a leader in the Al Era". The main objective of the session was to inspire women climbing the leadership ladder in the evolving world of Al. The discussants were; 1. Tech & Media Convergency (TMC) was privileged to be represented by the Policy & Programs Coordinator, Janet Kahindi in a Stratergic Conversation on the "State of Digital Rights and Inclusion in Tanzania", moderated by Aurelia Miheso from Amnesty, Kenya. The Panel consisted of; 1. Florence Majani - DW Reporter and Founder of WINO Tanzania 2. Tito Kisiya - Digital Rights Coalition representative from Bridge for Change 3. Zaituni Njovu - Founder and CEO of Zaina Foundation 4. Janet Kahindi - Policy & Programs Coordinator, Tech & Media Convergency (TMC) 5. Philomena Mwalongo - Executive Director, Youth Environmental Justice & Gender Equality (YOGE) The event was hosted by Zaina Foundation in collaboration with Paradigm Initiative at Hyatt Regency, Dar es Salaam.
