Angels for Ukraine, together with the All-Ukrainian League of Ukrainian Women, delivered assistance to the Novosanzharkyi orphanage in Poltavska oblast. This social institution, with highly professional personnel, cares for 110 children with special needs daily. In addition to hygiene items, a clothes dryer, which was donated by the Geelong Ukrainian Women’s Association, will be delivered very soon. We systematically support social institutions that provide care and support to the most vulnerable people in Ukraine. We are proud of our cooperation with partners, who support our humanitarian efforts. We thank the Humanitarian Post of Ukraine for covering the logistic costs for this charitable initiative. #Ukraine #Aid #Children #Humanitarian #supportukraine

⚡ The third and final part of our volunteer's story about medical evacuations near the frontline. "Many still don’t understand why anyone would risk their own life to help others. But when you’re with like-minded people, you know you are in good hands because you are with a group of people that will risk their life to save others," - Megan M., our volunteer. Soon, she will be back in Ukraine and will continue her merciful mission! 🇺🇦 🤗 In dark times, bright people are clearly visible (Erich Maria Remarque) Read more: https://lnkd.in/dbQA9xJD

Today, on International Mental Health Day, we at Angels for Ukraine Foundation reaffirm our commitment to supporting the mental well-being of those affected by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. 🕊️ The trauma of war reaches far beyond physical boundaries. It impacts minds, hearts, and souls. 💪 Yet, we've witnessed incredible resilience among the Ukrainian people. Your strength inspires us every day. 🤝 Together, we can build a future where mental health support is accessible to all who need it. That is why we continue implementing our School psychologists’ upskilling project and supporting local initiatives focused on MHPSS activities. Everyone who wants to support our work can donate on our website: https://lnkd.in/d7RAmAyU Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you or someone you know needs support, contact trusted organizations that assist in your region/community/settlement. You're not alone. #InternationalMentalHealthDay #StandWithUkraine #MentalHealthMatters #AngelsForUkraine

Two weeks ago, a new school year officially started! We are so glad we could support children from Kostiantynivka, Donetsk oblast, in their preparation for education. For the young people in war-affected regions of Ukraine, access to basic educational materials like schoolbags and other supplies is not just about learning – it’s about preserving childhood, fostering resilience, and building a foundation for the future. In total, 64 equipped schoolbags were given to children. Every pencil, every notebook, every schoolbag is an investment in peace, recovery, and the human potential that will ultimately rebuild and strengthen the nation. Let us come together to support Ukraine’s children, for in their education lies the seeds of a more stable and prosperous future for all.
