A teacher of chemistry, physics and biology from Lviv Oblast Larysa Ronanyshyn, who became the winner of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024 in the nomination "Chemistry Teacher", received such a monetary reward from the Biopharma company. 💭 "We believe that by investing in youth education, we are building a solid foundation for future innovations. But by supporting the best teachers, we invest in the future and hope that Ukraine will make a significant contribution to the field of biotechnology thanks to such educational projects!" Oksana Plotnikova, director of strategic development of the Biopharma company, congratulated the winner. Larisa Ronanyshyn believes that this is a vocation, not just a profession, strives to raise a generation that will improve the world, adapts educational methods to the needs of students, creates author's courses. Among other professional achievements of the teacher is the victory of her team in the international program of school space experiments SSEP (Student Spaceflight Experiments Program) Mission 18. SSEP allows participants to send minilaboratories for the study of microgravity to the International Space Station using the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft from the NASA center in Florida . Now, at the invitation of NASA, they and their students will go to the launch to see with their own eyes how their experiment flies into space!

Oksana Muliarchuk, director of the Biopharma Plasma network of plasma centers, took part in the Transcarpathian International Forum on Economic Development in the Region. The Biopharma company was presented as diversifying its business into the Transcarpathian region👍 Oksana took part in a panel discussion on the topic of cooperation between business and education. She emphasized the importance of business investments in educational projects for schools and students, as this will allow training qualified personnel and give young people the opportunity to stay in Ukraine, and not seek a better fate abroad 🙏 "We sincerely thank the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Myroslav Biletskyi for promoting the development of business in this region and for the opportunity to be part of this important event. This gave us the opportunity to contribute to the development of the region's economy," noted Oksana. The first stage of the unique educational project 🧬"BioSchool" was successfully completed! 28 gifted schoolchildren from all over Ukraine studied biology in depth for 2.5 weeks at the Biopharma pharmaceutical plant in Bila Tserkva. There, the best conditions have been created for them: ⚗️modern laboratory equipment, individual desks with 🔬microscopes, 👩💻multimedia support, a comfortable 🛋️rest area. 👩🔬Most students have already decided in which directions they want to develop further, including immunology, microbiology, oncology, cardiac surgery, pedagogy Soon, the project participants will be able to study online. In January the organizers are planning face-to-face classes at the "BioSchool" again. The investor of the educational project, the sponsor of the All-Ukrainian Biology Olympiad and the president of the Biopharma company Kostiantyn Yefymenko noted that he is ready to support the graduates of "BioSchool" with grants for admission to the best 👩🎓universities in Ukraine! "I am sure that each of you will create your own unique successful project. I believe in the success of each of you and treat it with respect! Everything is in your hands! In order to be successful, you need to delve into mathematics, chemistry and physics and be sure not to forget about your favorite hobbies that are not at all related to academic education!", said Kostiantyn Yefymenko.

A unique educational project 👨🔬"BioSchool" was launched on the basis of the Biopharma pharmaceutical plant! 28 talanted schoolchildren from all over Ukraine arrived in Bila Tserkva for 2.5 weeks of study. The pioneers of "BioSchool" will have an in-depth course in the study of biology in the best conditions for this: ⚗️modern laboratory equipment (children will work at the level of European laboratories) 🔬individual desks with microscopes 🌐multimedia support for broadcasts of lectures from different parts of the world 🛋️comfortable rest area Students are divided into 3 groups and will work every day with the involvement of the best specialists in biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, and molecular biology. After returning home, they will continue their studies 👨💻online. We are proud of the opportunity to contribute to the development of the youth of Ukraine! We hope that each of them will reach the top in the field of biotechnology!

The team of the Biopharma company conquered the highest point of Ukraine - Hoverla! Its height is 2,061 m above sea level. Together, as one big family, we overcame this challenge and enjoyed every minute of the adventure! Thanks to the preci team for joining us! The feeling of unity, support and the unique beauty of the Carpathian Mountains filled us with energy and positive emotions. Despite all the difficulties, we proved that together we can reach the highest peaks, both in the mountains and in our professional activities!

What did surprise us at the blood center in Barcelona? The fact that there is no donation hall. Blood and plasma are collected only on the way, with the help of 12 machines that drive around Catalonia. It is difficult to call it simply a center of blood. It is a bank of blood, cells and tissues. 5 floors, 900 employees. Every day, 1,000 units of blood alone are processed there. A huge biobank of stem cells and other tissues. The laboratory and processing are open 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.

We are happy to share our impressions of participation in #ISBTBarcelona 2024 - the International Congress of International Societies of Blood Transfusion! It is the worldwide professional association for blood transfusion and cell therapy. This year's Congress gathered 2,800 participants from all over the world! Our team had the opportunity to communicate with the best experts in the field of transfusion, held negotiations with suppliers of new technologies and learned about research projects from all over the world. We were especially impressed by the presentations of colleagues from South Korea, India, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe on donor recruitment. Their evidence of using social networks is impressive. Companies from the USA and Europe were represented at the equipment exhibition, with a very significant share of Chinese manufacturers.
