Про нас

Come Back Alive is a foundation that helps the Ukrainian army. Our main goal is to preserve the lives of our servicemen and servicewomen in the face of an invading force by increasing their effectiveness. Our foundation purchases equipment that can save the lives of military personnel, including thermal imaging, nighttime/daytime optics, quadcopters, cars, and protective, communication, and intelligence equipment. Come Back Alive instructors improve the skills of sappers, UAV operators, artillery personnel, and snipers while also teaching medical aid. From May 2014 through January 2023, the foundation raised more than 210 million dollars for the needs of Ukrainian defenders and helped 15,000 servicemen and servicewomen upgrade their qualifications.

Together with IT company Ciklum we are raising 10 million UAH for the preparation and participation of the Ukrainian national team in the Invictus Games: https://lnkd.in/dKvrw4up Since 2014 more than one million Ukrainian warriors have taken up arms to defend Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war. With the start of a new phase of hostilities, the number of military personnel in need of high-quality rehabilitation has increased significantly. That’s why the veteran sports is so important! The Invictus Games is an international adaptive sport event for servicemen and women, both serving and veterans, who got injured, wounded or sick in the line of duty. The Ukrainian team will be accompanied at the competition in Vancouver, Canada, by professional coaches, psychologists and rehabilitation specialists who understand the needs of the participants during the competition. Together with the sporting component, the presence of families at the games plays an important role in the participants' recovery. The shared experience has a positive impact on the well-being of veterans and their closed ones ❤️🩹 Your support makes the recovery process of those who stood up to defend our homeland and each of us superior, safe, and effective! We urge you to support the National team with donation: 👉🏻 https://lnkd.in/dwQwvKSc

A Yale University professor has supported the initiative aimed at training Ukrainian defenders 🇺🇦 He personally handed over a certificate with a contribution of $20,000 to Oleg Karpenko, Deputy Director of the "Come Back Alive" Foundation. Jason Stanley is an American philosopher, Yale University professor, and author of five books. He is a world expert on propaganda and fascism, and his articles have been published in The New York Times and The Washington Post. Recently, Jason visited Ukraine and conducted a series of lectures at the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), where he serves as an honorary professor. He donated his $20,000 compensation from the university to the establishment of the "Yatagan" UAV School, where our defenders will be able to acquire one of the most essential military specialties — external pilot-operator. "I work on the threat of fascism," says Jason Stanley, "and I'm donating to 'Come Back Alive' because they have been crucial in the fight to help Ukrainian democracy survive." The "Come Back Alive" Foundation, in partnership with PrivatBank, is raising 33 million hryvnias to establish the "Yatagan" UAV School, which is being formed within the structure of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Every contribution is a significant investment in the education and development of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The contribution of the Yale University professor is yet another example that there are no geographical boundaries for supporting Ukraine. British historian Timothy Garton Ash dedicated a prize to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Along with the "Come Back Alive" Foundation he provided drones and night optics to the 409th Separate Rifle Battalion of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade. Oxford professor Timothy Garton Ash is a globally renowned historian, author of more than 10 books on contemporary European history, and many articles on contemporary Ukraine. Mr. Garton Ash arrived in Kyiv for the presentation of the Ukrainian edition of his book "Homelands: A Personal History of Europe" published by Vivat in Kharkiv, in which he writes about Europe during the period between World War II and the Russian-Ukrainian war. For this work, the historian became the laureate of the Lionel Gelber Prize 2024, and he donated all of his reward (50,000 Canadian dollars, or 1,437,832.72 UAH) to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This contribution helped the "Come Back Alive" Foundation to provide the 409th Separate Rifle Battalion with a set of equipment worth 2,751,943 UAH. Timothy Garton Ash personally, along with the Foundation’s team, handed over to the battalion’s commander, Major Andriy Pydlisny: ✅ 4 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters (with thermal optics); ✅ 10 thermal monoculars; ✅ 10 night vision monoculars; ✅ 4 Minox monoculars with compass and rangefinder reticle. "I can think of no better use for a prize received for a book about recent European history than to donate it towards equipping the Ukrainian Armed Forces for victory. Because nothing less than the future of Europe is at stake in this war," says Timothy Garton Ash. Timothy Garton Ash is proving that it is important not only to know history but also to be ready to influence it, defending justice and freedom.
