Last week we hosted an event at our Oslo office with Moelven to launch "Housing for Ukraine", a joint project that aims to provide homes for families in Ukraine, paving the way for larger rebuilding efforts.🏠 Specifically, the first pilot project for 4 families is set to be delivered to Borodyanka city in Ukraine within Q2 of 2025. As Jon Erik Høgberg, Group COO of Itera, stated: "We must act now before the humanitarian crisis becomes too demanding. 'Too late – too little' is not acceptable." #HousingForUkraine #IteraMakeaDifference #RebuildUkraine
Yesterday, we hosted an event at Itera's Oslo office with Moelven to launch the "Housing for Ukraine" pilot project 🇺🇦 🏡 This initiative aims to build initial homes for four families in Ukraine and set the stage for larger rebuilding efforts. Notable guests included Cecilie T. Myrseth, Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry from Nærings- og fiskeridepartementet, and Marharyta Bondarieva, policy advisor from the Borodyanka community in Ukraine. Representatives from NHO, The Ukrainian embassy, Norsk Eksportfinans, Norad, Innovation Norway, NUCC and others also attended. Together with several suppliers to Moelven. The event featured Moelven Byggmodul and its suppliers signing a contract, symbolizing our commitment to future deliveries and ongoing support. "We at Itera are proud to collaborate with Moelven Byggmodul to make a difference for Ukraine. Together, we provide what the country and many Ukrainians need: new, permanent quality homes quickly and at scale. We must act now before the humanitarian crisis becomes too demanding. 'Too late – too little' is not acceptable. We also thank the Minister of Trade for her support on behalf of Norway. Itera has been active in Ukraine for 16 years, and is now assisting Norwegian businesses in entering the country to provide aid and keep the economy going through trade. Customers like Moelven Byggmodul set a strong example that all businesses in the country can be inspired by", Jon Erik Høgberg, Group COO of Itera. Wow, it's already 17 Years of Making a Difference! 🎉💜 Last month, we marked a significant milestone—17 years of Itera in Ukraine. While gathering offline is becoming increasingly difficult, it has become more essential. Friendly hugs and heartfelt conversations with those who understand us truly heal the heart and soul.🫶 We are immensely grateful to our colleagues for the warm and priceless moments, their understanding, and unwavering support. Our people are our motivation to keep moving forward! ❤️ Traditionally, all our gatherings include a charitable component. On our 17th birthday, we raised UAH 102,633 at a charity auction, contributing to the big fundraising for three cars for the Defence Forces.
