On October 28, our company, Enzym Group, and Lviv IT Cluster signed a Memorandum with the Lviv city council, joining the initiative to rebuild Lviv after the recent Russian missile strike. 📍 Following the tragedy in September, we didn’t hesitate — on September 5, we committed 5️⃣ million UAH to the city’s recovery alongside Enzym Group. Today, with the signing of this Memorandum, we, together with Enzym Group and IT Cluster, have officially announced the start of restoration work at the Konovaltsia Street, 46 site. This building, with a damaged roof, windows, and walls, sadly witnessed the loss of two lives during the attack on September 4. ✅ But we will accomplish everything that can be restored. With the support of the IT Cluster Charitable Foundation and the companies involved, we secured 9.5 million UAH to recover this building. Emergency stabilization work will begin soon, and restoration contractors will be selected. We’ll keep you updated on every step and our ongoing progress. No matter how far our reach extends, Lviv remains our home, and we are proud to contribute to the victory and restoration of our beloved city💙 #MemorandumOnReconstruction

✨ Today, in our #PeopleofKormotech series, we proudly introduce Vira Burak, a market research manager who does wonders for our company daily. Vira doesn’t just research consumer needs and conduct in-depth interviews. She “decodes” our customers' true desires, creates precise audience segmentation, and helps us discover that unique edge that takes our products to the next level. We confidently proceed with our strategy thanks to her dedication and keen insights. 👉 Vira Burak believes that the key to success is the ability to listen. Her skill in hearing people's perspectives from various backgrounds makes her an excellent workshop moderator, aligning a vision that meets consumer demands and business interests. Her passion for language and thought began at university, where Vira defended her dissertation in comparative ethnolinguistics. This journey strengthened her love for challenges, taught her to structure chaos and dive deep into the most complex questions and insights. She intuitively felt that marketing research was where theories could be tested in practice. Her first experience in marketing was at a small advertising agency, but her actual test came with the internet media project gargant.ua. Vira led a team of 15 people and made the project successful, opening the world of brand strategy to her and igniting her dream to pursue it professionally. Vira has been with our company for 4️⃣ years. She started in digital marketing, where she created an innovative web infrastructure for Club 4 Paws. Today, working in analytics, she implements the Jobs To Be Done framework and the Mental Models methodology, offering a deeper understanding of clients and their thinking. ☑️ One of Vira Burak's most important projects is developing a strategy for launching new brands at Kormotech, helping to identify new market niches and build a competitive advantage in the pet food world. 🏡 When Vira isn’t immersed in work, she finds inspiration in renovating her country cottage and reading books. Among her favorites is Nassim Taleb's "Antifragile," which teaches us to be flexible and resilient in a world where the rules are constantly changing.

The summit, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, drew over 600 participants, including over 100 investors. ❇️ Kormotech was recognized as one of the most significant investor companies thanks to the "A Green Light for Growth" initiative, which opens up new opportunities for companies looking to expand production and create jobs. ✨ Friends, please welcome our colleague Roman Shpak — Senior Brand Executive / Premium Brands, to the #PeopleOfKormotech series! Roman has led this direction for 8️⃣ years, bringing the #Optimeal brand into the top 3 in the super-premium pet food segment. He has achieved significant success with his team, including entering the U.S. and South Korean markets. Before joining our company, Roman Shpak ran his advertising agency, rebranded the large family store chain "Bila Vorona," and carried out numerous other projects. He worked abroad for several years but realized his heart belonged to Ukraine. ❇️ Roman's plans are equally ambitious. Ahead is the implementation of a four-year strategy aimed at strengthening the Optimeal brand's position in both existing and new markets and doubling the results achieved. His goal is not only to maintain current success but also to introduce innovations in the super-premium segment. He believes that challenges drive change and always strives to grow by overcoming them with his team. 🏞️ What helps him recharge? For Roman Shpak, it's the Carpathians, nature, spending time with his family, and music. He also believes it's essential to sometimes be alone, find time for himself, collect his thoughts, and pursue his hobby—DJing. It allows him to recharge, find inspiration, and return to work with new ideas. Regarding his typical day, Roman says: "I start the day with coffee with my wife — it's our ritual, watching the city wake up. Then, it's off to the office: meetings, brainstorming, analysis, and finding solutions. And I spend time with my family in the evening or hit the gym if I have the time and energy." 📖 As for his beloved books, Roman Shpak draws inspiration from contemporary Ukrainian literature, particularly among the nominees for the "Coronation of the Word" award, and business classics like Stephen Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. These books help him not only at work but also in life. 🗨️ A quote from his favorite cartoon, Kung Fu Panda, perfectly reflects his approach to work: "When you make too many moves, you stir the water and can't see anything around. But when you calm down, the water becomes clear, and you see the solution to the problem."
