IT Arena has completed its third day, once again proving why it’s the top technology event in Ukraine 🥳 We brought together over 5,500 attendees from 30+ countries in Lviv. We are grateful to all the participants who joined us for three unforgettable days of the event. Productive networking with representatives of international clusters to strengthen strategic partnerships. In the framework of the international cooperation programme “EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalisation” funded by the European Union and the German government, Lviv IT Cluster held a matchmaking event that brought together over 10 tech clusters from Ukraine and the EU to discuss strategic partnerships. The meeting was opened by Nadiia Pshenychna, Project Coordinator at EU4Business she greeted the participants and shared information about the program and opportunities for clusters and entrepreneurs. Yaryna Voznyak, Research Lead at Lviv IT Cluster, with a presentation of key indicators of the Ukrainian tech industry, which, despite challenging times, demonstrates potential and resilience. Florian Andrews, Expert on Sustainability and Cluster Management at SCI - Sustainable & Circular Initiatives GmbH, delivered a lecture where he discussed strategies for enhancing organizational capacity in clusters. Additionally, the representatives of clusters shared their experiences in implementing and adapting strategies and new services. The second day of IT Arena is coming to a close. Today, attendees immersed themselves in engaging speaker presentations, insightful panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, all leading up to the thrilling finale of the Startup Competition. At #itarena2024 Lviv IT Cluster Executive Lounge hosted an insightful M&A panel discussion featuring Ivan Babichuk, Member of the Supervisory Board of Lviv IT Cluster and VP of Engineering & Operations at EduNav, and Mykhailo Shelemba, CEO of DataGroup, Volia, and lifecell 💥 Mykhailo shared valuable insights into the merger between lifecell and DataGroup-Volia, detailing the stages of the deals, including dates, approvals, and partner interactions. He emphasized the importance of a dedicated team, stating, “People who are dedicated to the company are the secret sauce of success.” He also discussed their efforts in restoring the network in the liberated cities of Kherson and Chernihiv.
