Founder of the M&P Communication - leading Ukrainian PR Company. I initiator of a network of leading European PR agencies for Ukrainian businesses in EU. Equestrian Publisher, developing new reading experience.

This article is excellent from start to finish - from its intriguing opening with the vibe of a thrilling detective story to the diverse and competent opinions on how Boeing should navigate the company's crisis. The study shows that passengers are willing to pay $50-150 more to fly on non-Boeing aircraft. This is a sobering reality check for those who consider reputation an ephemeral, immeasurable asset that is not worth the effort and attention. In summarizing the key crisis management steps, I agree with Eric Dezenhall that finding and fixing the root cause through engineering and technical solutions is crucial. It's no coincidence that communication comprises only about 10% of what a company does. It's impossible to do 10% and communicate 90% to build reputation and trust. I concur with David E. Johnson that accelerating the replacement of leadership responsible for the problem is necessary. Fixing the issue while retaining personnel who caused it only sets the stage for recurrence. The next step should be bringing in a highly respected individual to conduct an independent investigation and make recommendations, followed by a plan to implement those recommendations. Engaging all stakeholders - from government structures to influencers at all levels, utilizing all communication channels from TikTok and Reddit to global business and industry publications - is a challenge for the communication team, especially in social media where, as Evan Nierman rightly points out, the audience is most aggressive and active. Like Erich Joachimsthaler Ph.D., I've always believed that proper crisis management is an opportunity for a brand to build a new and better reputation, engage more strongly with its audiences, and gain new brand advocates with powerful voices. The beauty of this campaign lies in the fact that neither advertising slogans nor marketing campaigns can solve the brand's problems alone, but they will be indispensable in the stages when measurable results of brand value start to rise. I recommend this article to anyone seeking to understand crisis management. It's a comprehensive manual from super-experts on how to handle a crisis. Thank you for this excellent material,  Robert Klara in ADWEEK

Has anything changed in communication strategies since the first announcement was scratched on a clay tablet? Not everything. The clay tablet has been replaced by a monitor, but the sender, receiver, medium, and format remain. The content also remains - is it understandable to the recipient, considering all the noise and distortions? What has changed dramatically is the amount of information, its сhannel, formats, speed, senders, and receivers. Now, to break through and catch the eye of stakeholders, one needs to juggle channels and methods, utilizing all available resources. In this article, we present a checklist of what modern strategies should include and what guides our approach at M&P Communications. This checklist serves as a tool we use - and encourage you to use - to ensure no crucial element is overlooked in crafting effective communication strategies. From time-tested techniques to cutting-edge trends, we'll explore the key components that make a communication strategy successful in today's fast-paced, information-saturated world. Because in the realm of PR and marketing, details matter, and having a comprehensive framework can make all the difference. #CommunicationEvolution #PRStrategy #ModernMarketing #EffectiveMessaging

    Junior PR-manager

Last Friday, I had a great opportunity to attend an event dedicated to the role of AI in the work of PR specialists, organized by Piarity and LOOQME. At the event, I got not only interesting but also highly relevant knowledge on how to: - Overcome skepticism about AI and start implementing it in the work; - Find and use non-trivial AI-based tools that will help to achieve goals; - Create effective promts. Especially valuable were the presentations of speakers who have extensive experience in integrating AI into their activities. ⭐ Олексій Мінаков, PR specialist at Master of Code Global ⭐ Kristina Nikolaeva, Strategic Initiatives & AI Lead at One Philosophy consulting group ⭐ Victoria Goncharenko, PR specialist at Esculab medical laboratory chain 🎤 Moderated by Oksana Kononova, CEO & founder of LOOQME I am sincerely glad that more and more events like this are appearing for PR specialists. This is a great opportunity not only to gain valuable knowledge and skills, but also to establish useful contacts in a professional environment😀

What's challenging about writing a communication strategy? Overall, the process is usually a continuous search for common solutions - starting from the first strategic session, where it often becomes apparent how different the views on communication, its goals, results, and processes are among the participants. Developing a strategy for one of the Ukrainian governmental bodies on 3 levels was a complete challenge. Communication at three levels - national, regional, and local - and finding common interests among all stakeholders was complex. From Ukrainian society, for whom just transition and a carbon-free economy is a path to Europe and an ecological future, to miners and trade unions, for whom the closure of mines means job loss and uncertainty. However, our team managed to overcome these difficulties and find compromise solutions that satisfied everyone. We are infinitely grateful to our colleagues and partners - Iryna Stepanova and GIZ Ukraine team who worked tirelessly on the document for the success of all parties. And to our team - Kateryna Didkovska, Maryna Buha, Sofiia Sorokina and Taisia Stadnichenko who brilliantly coped with this very challenging project. After the victory, Ukraine will have approximately 5-6 million veterans and their family members, which means every 6th Ukrainian or about 17% of the population. This is an unprecedented figure in the modern world, as no country has faced such a large number of veterans and their reintegration into peaceful life. One of the projects, in collaboration with the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA), which has been engaged in educational programs for veterans since 2015, is a program to identify the needs of veterans to provide the best and most accurate answer to this question. First, we proposed an event that would allow an open discussion about the mutual needs of business, government, and veterans themselves in the new reality. An open panel discussion with representatives from the government, businesses that already employ returning veterans, NaUKMA as a representative of education and professional development, the military who are the recipients of assistance, and volunteers and public figures allowed us to better understand the request and find ways to satisfy it best. The discussion "Education for Veterans: What is Needed for a Successful Return to Civilian Professional Life" was attended by Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Yana Chapailo, Head of the NAKMA Resource Center for Veterans, Natalia Movchan, HR-department of EPAM, Maria Berlinska , military officer and head of the Victory Drones project and the Aerial Reconnaissance Support Center, @Taras Taras Tymochko, junior sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Project Management Advisor at American Councils for International Education. We learned that veterans want and need professional development, particularly in management areas - leadership and management disciplines that will allow them to advance their future careers. The second need is starting their own businesses and implementing their own projects. The demand for training in starting a business turned out to be quite relevant, along with the establishment of a fund for veterans to finance the start of projects. The third area is the adaptation of employers to the needs of veterans, both in terms of physical accessibility - ensuring full inclusivity and psychological support. The event and its results were covered in the press, particularly in an interview and expert article by the head of the NaUKMA Veterans Resource Center, Yana Chapailo, on NV and Sotsportal. The next steps for NaUKMA are to create programs and courses that meet these requests and to establish a fund to provide veterans with start-up capital. We continue to work on these projects and believe that our contribution will make them even more useful and valuable for all parties. Our team - Kateryna Didkovska , Nikita Vakulenko , Kseniia Khromova #Ukraine #Veterans #Reintegration #Education #ProfessionalDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Inclusivity #NaUKMA #VeteransResourceCenter #PostWarRecovery
