📢The training and presentation space of the Public Media Academy was launched at Suspilne Lviv. This was done with the financial support of the European Union 🤝 💬 ‘We are a bridge between truth and society, ensuring that every voice is heard and every story is told honestly and truthfully. This new space will serve as a centre for innovation, collaboration and creativity, allowing us to better serve the public and reflect the diversity of Ukraine,’ said Svitlana Ostapa, Chair of the Supervisory Board of Suspilne Ukraine. The space of the Public Media Academy will be used to hold offline events and to see the exposition of the Museum of Broadcasting. Here's what the backstage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 looks like 🤩 The first broadcast from the brand new OB-Van went down in history: the national selection was watched on Suspilne platforms not only in Ukraine but also all over the world. We cheered, voted and chose the winner together! We are sincerely grateful to our partners - Japan - The Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) - for the equipment provided, which makes it possible to produce such high-quality television and digital shows 🤝 It is worth reminding that the modernised OB-Van from the German manufacturer Broadcast Solutions operates in HD and UltraHD formats. The TV complex can produce programmes from 14 cameras simultaneously (10 on board). The vehicle itself has 13 workstations for the production team, as well as two remote workstations for commentators. The Suspilne team received the OB-Van in August this year. 🌐 Maria Frey, a member of the Board of Suspilne Ukraine, responsible for news and regional broadcasting, took part in the REAIMSummit online, dedicated to the responsible use of artificial intelligence in the military. She spoke about how artificial intelligence technologies affect the lives of Ukrainians in the face of daily shelling and what is happening to the media environment. 🗨 “Wars are often the result of battles fought long before them in the information space. Internews Network President Jeanne Bourgault and Internews Network Ukraine Director and USAID Media Program Manager Gillian McCormack visited the production centre of the western hub of Suspilne Ukraine. 👉 On 17 September, the foreign guests visited the Suspilne Lviv TV studio and saw how the multichannel broadcasting room works. In addition, the delegation visited the repositories of rare films that are waiting to be digitised and learned how Suspilne Ukraine works with archival materials.

Five projects of Suspilne Ukraine received awards at the 4th international TV festival ‘Heart of Europe 2024’! 🏆The author of the ‘Artillery’ project Yulia Tkachuk won in the Digital and Entertainment Content category. Two prizes were awarded to documentary projects in the Short Documentary category - projects produced by the team of the Department for Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities of Suspilne Ukraine:  🥇 documentary film ‘My Crimea’; 🥈 project ‘This is how the war made me’. 🏆In the documentary film category, the second place went to the film by the Suspilne investigative team, ‘Queue to Say Goodbye’. 🏆A special award in the category of children's and teenage content went to the project ‘Collider’. 👉 Read more about the award here: https://lnkd.in/ddtuRrQy

Suspilne is more than just a TV channel. Suspilne is more than just radio broadcasting. Suspilne is more than just a public broadcaster, it is a reform. The existence of the public service media is the marker, being one of the most important ones. ✒ This is one of key parts of Ukraine's democratic reforms. The conference titled European Integration in Wartime: Challenges for Freedom of Speech and Suspilne Ukraine Role took place on Monday, 2 September. 3️⃣ projects of Suspilne Ukraine were nominated for the international PRIX EUROPA competition: 🔹 documentary film ‘This is how the war made me’; 🔹radio documentary project ‘Kitchen of Occupation. What and how did Ukrainians eat in the occupied territories?’ 🔹podcast ‘Uniqueness or provincialism of Ukrainian music of the past?’. Dear colleagues, Happy Independence Day of Ukraine! This day symbolizes the strength and unity of our people, our aspiration for freedom and justice, which our defenders achieve through difficult battles. Independence is a great responsibility. It lives in our hearts, reflects in our thoughts, and most importantly, in our actions. Each of us contributes daily to the development, strengthening, and preservation of our country's history. Therefore, we can confidently say, "Independence in the actions of each individual." The price of our independence is extremely high. Thousands of lives of fallen heroes, civilian victims, repressed and oppressed Ukrainians stand behind our right to celebrate today. As the Public Broadcaster, we do everything to ensure that future generations remember the price paid by our ancestors and contemporaries for our Independence. Everything we write, depict, record today will become history tomorrow. And on this history, future generations will grow. Independence in the actions of everyone. Let us cherish every moment of it.
