NTOROKO LAKEPORT: Completed in 2022, Ntoroko Lakeport is situated in the town of Ntoroko, on the shores of Lake Albert, and facilitates trade between Uganda and the DRC. EA Piling installed the sheet pile quay wall, measuring 100m in length, and 44 no. 800mm diameter piles for the jetty. It is good to see the lake port is bustling with activity and trade. KIBIMBA BRIDGE: Standing strong on EA Piling foundations. We installed the 72 no. 600mm CFA piles down to bedrock level for the flagship project for Uganda National Roads Authority, UNRA. The 60m span bridge serves the major highway connecting Jinja and Kampala with the Kenya border. One year after completion, the soil nail wall EA Piling constructed for Uganda Free Zones Authority (UFZA) at Entebbe International Airport is looking strong and sturdy. The filled embankment is over 2,000 m2 in surface area, has a maximum height of 13m and was cut to a slope of 70 degrees from horizontal.
