#BEST_PDM_SOROTI We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a truly transformative 4-DAY Business and Enterprise Start-up Tool (BEST) Training program in Soroti District, Uganda held at Shalom Youth Centre - Kakungulu Road, Soroti District. From September 30th to October 3rd, over 1000 enthusiastic participants immersed themselves in a comprehensive learning experience that has the power to shape their futures and enhance their communities. What made this training particularly special was the diverse mix of individuals it attracted, including participants from the esteemed government Parish Development Model (PDM) program. Together, they delved into essential business skills that are instrumental in fostering financial independence and nurturing entrepreneurial ambitions. At Enterprise Uganda, we believe that true empowerment comes not just from knowledge but from a shift in mindset, strategic planning, and hands-on entrepreneurship skills. By focusing on these pillars, we are proud to say that our participants are now better prepared than ever to make lasting impacts in their respective communities. As we witness the seeds of change being sown through this training program, we are inspired by the dedication and passion shown by every individual involved. Together, we are not just empowering entrepreneurs - we are building a strong foundation for Uganda's entrepreneurial future. 🇺🇬 Join us in celebrating the journey of growth and transformation in Soroti District, as we continue our commitment to creating a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow for all. Let's Promote Enterprise Excellence...TOGETHER!

Did you know you can start a business, make money, and close it in one week? Attending the Entrepreneurship Training Workshop with ENTERPRISE UGANDA and Empretec Network unveils the acronym PECs (Personal Entrepreneurial Competences). This transformative workshop delves into 10 PECs and 30 entrepreneurial behaviors crucial for business success. Last week, I experienced a unique entrepreneurship training workshop that pushed me and 17 other entrepreneurs to think big and step out of our comfort zones. I remember my father attending this training workshop almost 15 years ago prior to him starting a family business ‘Jackson’s Crunchies’. From navigating Kampala for a group assignment with a tight deadline to creating and closing a business within 6 days, the practical tasks truly engaged us and enhanced our learning experience. The entrepreneurship journey may be tough and solitary, but witnessing everyone rise to the challenge was inspiring. The opportunity to interact and learn from the trainers and Charles Ocici, whose passion for entrepreneurship is unmatched, was invaluable. When it is all said and done, every entrepreneur must take pride in having the courage to do what so many would like to do but what so many choose not to do. #Entrepreneurship #BusinessSuccess #EmpretecNetwork #EnterpriseUganda #SMEs #GrowthAccelerator

Enterprise Uganda was privileged to conduct 71st (Empretec Training Workshop) which was held on the 9th to 14th September 2024 at The Grandville Hotel and Suites in Bugolobi Kampala. The training attracted 20 (14 female and 6 male) entrepreneurs from different sectors including: Construction, services, trade, pharmaceuticals, baking, energy, tourism and hospitality, ICT, Graphic designing, health and education. The training was aimed at enabling participants to become familiar with behavioural competencies of successful entrepreneurs; to look for, recognize and code those behaviours in themselves and others; to strengthen and enhance the behaviours they choose to work on through practice and reinforcement; and to apply those behaviours during execution of their work in their businesses and other spheres of life. Specifically, the workshop provided participants with a frank and comprehensive evaluation of their potential as entrepreneurs; increased their capacity to detect opportunities, establish stimulating goals, improve efficiency, make use of multiple sources of information, develop plans of action, evaluate and take risks, increase their personal power to negotiate and create meaningful linkages. The 6-day intensive and action-packed training helps entrepreneurs improve on their internal locus of control, adapt personal entrepreneurial competences required for them to take the right business decisions, actions and start looking at and doing things differently and in the end transforms participants mindset into a ‘business winning mindset’.
