Grassroots organizations play a vital role in community development and social change. However, these organizations often face significant challenges when it comes to cybersecurity, particularly in regards to malware detection and prevention. With limited resources and technical expertise, many grassroots organizations find themselves vulnerable to cyber attacks that can compromise their data, operations, and the communities they serve. Recognizing these challenges, with support from Internews , we've initiated a comprehensive malware training program targeting grassroots organizations. We're currently working with six local organizations, providing their staff with essential skills in malware detection and prevention. Our first stop was Second Chance Foundation an organization that supports young women with various skills.
