GRADUATION DAY We're thrilled to celebrate the graduation of 70 students from our Katwe Skills Center! These remarkable youth, once affected by violence & from marginalized groups, have transformed their lives through our program in tailoring, design, & domestic wiring. With funding from Finn Church Aid and Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland they've also received guidance, counseling, entrepreneurship training & mentorship training. We believe this milestone marks a turning point in their lives, empowering them to build a peaceful & prosperous Ugandan society.
🎓Congratulations to our talented students who have graduated from the CHANCE apprenticeship & scholarship program! 🎉 💼 The beneficiaries gained skills in general mechanics, baking, hairdressing, & computer literacy skills. This was also accompanied by study circles about self-confidence, purposefulness, self-care, financial literacy, social capital, adaptability, and competitiveness. This was designed to erase issues that could hinder the main apprentice. We believe that this has been a life-changing opportunity for them as they narrate. 👉Tap the link to watch their journey: https://lnkd.in/d7TygwZw Your hard work & dedication are paying off! Best wishes for your future endeavors! 🤝Big thanks to @180GradWende for generously funding this initiative.
Today, we conducted our lessons learned conference for Project CHANCE. 💪Ten remarkable individuals shared their stories of growth, resilience, and transformation. Our beneficiaries have demonstrated that with determination and support, anything is possible. 🤝A special thank you to 180 Grad Wende for funding this project!
