🚨 Government set date for new legislation on disposable vapes in the UK, but our research shows this may lead to an increase in people smoking🚨   Following the Government’s confirmation that the ban on disposable vapes will come into force from next year, it is important to highlight the impact of this new legislation. To investigate the impact of proposed legislation, last month Übbs Pouches teamed up with Haypp Group to better understand what this could mean for people across the UK. Our recent research found that, 25% fear they may revert to smoking once the ban kicks in and two in five (39%) are considering purchasing disposable e-cigarettes from unregulated, unsafe sources. The poll which asked the opinions of over 1,000 UK vapers did however find that 22% of vapers view the ban as a motivation to quit altogether, with many turning to nicotine pouches as a safer, smoke-free alternative.   Steve McGeough commented "At Ubbs, we’re here to help with that transition. 📢 New Research Reveals Potential Impact of Disposable Vape Ban on Smoking Habits in the UK   We recently conducted research in collaboration with Haypp on the upcoming disposable vape ban and its potential effects. We are thrilled to see our findings widely covered across national newspapers in the UK! 🗞️   Our study, which surveyed over 1,000 vapers, uncovered some important insights: 🚭25% of vapers fear they may return to smoking once the ban is enforced. 🚭39% are considering buying disposable e-cigarettes from unregulated sources, posing significant safety risks. 🚭52% of former smokers worry they might go back to smoking when vaping products are restricted. However, there’s also a positive shift, 22% of participants see the ban as a reason to finally quit vaping, with many turning to alternatives like nicotine pouches and gum.   Commenting on the research results, Steve McGeough, General Manager at Übbs said :“Our research is clear, whilst disposable vapes might be on the way out there are plenty of safe and regulated alternatives out there to try now or when the ban comes into play.
