Pod Alert! 🎙️📣 100x CEO and Director Kieron Boyle joins Adam Pike and Rafi Addlestone on The Impact Equation Podcast to share about his journey in the world of social impact and 100x’s approach to scaling social ventures. 🎙️ “Is it possible to take a subset of highly scalable models that are impact first, and help them 100x the impact? …we’ve seen particularly tech-enabled organisations go through a very rapid growth journey but if you are impact first you set up often a commercial approach, but you’ve got a mission, and this might be to solve poverty or to solve educational challenges.” 🎧 👉Take a listen: https://lnkd.in/dAN5WFwz #SocialImpact #ImpactLeadership #TheImpactEquation

Do you know what an Income Share Agreement is? In Sub-Saharan Africa, 8 million young people are in tertiary education. That’s about 9% of young people – more than double the share in 2000, but it’s still far lower than the world average of about 40% or the average in North America & Western Europe of about 80%. CHANCEN International, one of our education partners, is on a mission to change this. Through an innovative, student-centric financing model called Income Share Agreements, they're working to offer young people in Africa access to vocational and higher education. Learn more about this model from their co-founder and CEO Batya Blankers below! #shareUBS

Week three in the new role — and thrilled to be in Singapore for the launch of our Southeast Asia platform, in partnership with the UBS Optimus Foundation! With over a million impact-first organisations in Southeast Asia, social ventures form the backbone of vital services — from agriculture to healthcare, education to climate action. However, scaling these ventures requires more than ambition, and significant barriers still exist in accessing the right support. That’s where we aim to make a difference at 100x Impact Accelerator — connecting visionary entrepreneurs with the resources, advice, and partnerships that can multiply their impact a hundredfold. 💯 We're excited to collaborate with local expert partners, and while our efforts span the region, Singapore will serve as our base. This week, I’ve been fortunate to meet with foundations, family offices, government leaders, universities, and civic actors. It’s clear that Singapore is quickly establishing itself as a hub for philanthropy in Southeast Asia. At 100x, our goal is to build cohorts of future impact unicorns — ventures with the potential to effect positive change at the scale of billions. If you’re interested in partnering, multiplying impact, or building funding alliances in the region, do get in touch! 🇸🇬 🇮🇩 🇲🇾 🇻🇳 🇹🇭 🇵🇭 🇰🇭 🇱🇦 🇲🇲 #ImpactEconomy #SoutheastAsia #ScalingImpact

Hello, Southeast Asia! 👋 📣 We’re delighted to announce that we’re deepening our commitment to scaling impact-first ventures in Southeast Asia, in partnership with UBS Optimus Foundation. "We see immense potential for disruptive social innovation in Southeast Asia. But for these ventures to truly scale, they need the right resources and connections, which we’re excited to bring with this new philanthropic initiative." Kieron Boyle, our CEO and Director, said. 🌍 Building on the success of our global programme — which has seen over 2,500 applications from leading impact ventures across 100 countries — we’re now evolving our proven model into Southeast Asia. Ventures selected for the programme will benefit from US$200,000 catalytic capital, strategic and impact measurement support and access to a global network of experts and funders. ✨Introducing the next of this year's new alumni ambassadors! Adrian Farina EMSBE class 23/24 “I’ve recently completed the EMSBE and found it to be a transformational experience in my career. Coming from the corporate, for-profit background, I have historically struggled with the tension between profit and purpose, and the apparent impossibility for a firm to deliver on both in meaningful ways. Learning the approach to hybrid organisations that the Marshall Institute proposes has been a revelation, and I am convinced that it is a concept that can deliver a substantial impact in society. But for that to happen, the voice needs to reach newer audiences and stakeholders, so that more people and organisations start incorporating this way of thinking to their activities. Following my studies, I am planning to transition my career more into the social space, so staying involved with the Marshall Institute will allow me to continue to learn and build connections in this area." 🔗 Find out more about our Executive MSc in Social Business and Entrepreneurship here https://lnkd.in/eXMQvNbh
