We’re pleased to share our new 20 second demonstration video showing just how simple, easy and convenient the 1nhaler really is. You can also view the film, and additional info about our unique pop-up cardboard inhaler on our website 1nhaler.com
About us
We are developing a single-dose dry-powder inhaler that is simple to use, low-cost and small enough to slip into a wallet ready when needed. Propellant free and made predominantly from cardboard, the 1nhaler transforms from a flat credit card shape into a three-dimensional inhaler. Our patent protected membrane dispersion technology is designed to support a variety of medicines in dry-powder format. We believe this compact, light-weight, low-cost device will help unlock the potential of inhalable dry powders and extend life-saving treatments to more people around the world.

Both The Times and Telegraph reported today that doctors have been told to stop prescribing blue asthma inhalers. At 1nhaler, we absolutely recognise the impact of devices like these on the environment. That’s why we are developing a pop-up paper inhaler that draws on inhalable dry powder technology. It’s made predominantly from cardboard, can slip into the back of a phone and doesn’t require any of the harmful propellants used by traditional inhalers. Inhalable medicines are already widely used to treat conditions such as asthma, epilepsy, allergies and Parkinson’s but, to date, delivery options have been limited due to user accessibility, cost, performance and impact on the environment. And wouldn't it be great if, one day, we could receive our vaccines through the post! Through our technology, we have developed a way of enabling many different dry powder drugs to be readily delivered in a compact, light-weight, low-cost delivery device. From conversations with industry, we believe there is strong demand for such products. Working alongside our investors and partners, we’re excited to be taking the next step in developing them. #Inhaler #ScaleUp #HealthTech #MedicalDevice https://lnkd.in/eKyBwUey
