Did you know that we have extended The Bumbles of Honeywood Programme 🐝 to include year 5/6? The first workshop; Marketing Madness, is focussed on "Saving the Bees" 🐝 Working in teams the children have to come up with their own campaign to raise awareness of the decline in bee population. At the end of the workshop children will be tasked with making "Bee Cafes" using the materials gifted in the hive of goodies from the business partner. The skills focus in the storybook Hornet Scramble are #Teamwork #Determination #Leadership and #ProblemSolving In the workshop, children explore social skills and talk about their emotions. Being able to communicate with each other at a young age and discuss feelings and emotions will help them interact with their future colleagues in the workplace.
