🔍 Project Spotlight: Power Station Protection with Analogue Video & Thermal Solutions 🔍 At 360 Vision Technology, we’re proud of our ability to adapt and create technical surveillance solutions that meet even the most demanding requirements. Last month, a customer approached us with a unique challenge at a large critical infrastructure site - it was a power station which needed comprehensive perimeter surveillance using both video and thermal coverage. The tricky bit? The infrastructure could only support analogue technology— potentially a limitation in today’s digital age. Being a manufacturer with over 20 years' experience at coming up with solutions, we're pretty good at this sort of stuff. We engineered three Predator dual-view cameras, each equipped with one video and one thermal head, delivering high-performance pure analogue output that fits the site’s infrastructure perfectly. 👉Predator surveillance cameras: IP68, IK10 rugged design 👉Pure analogue solution to meet site restrictions 👉Dual-view functionality for both video and thermal coverage This project demonstrates our ability to deliver powerful surveillance systems, even under challenging conditions, and highlights the versatility of our UK-designed and manufactured solutions. If you have some technically challenging sites to keep secure, maybe we can help - we'd certainly love to speak with you. 🛑Let's talk Crime Prevention!🛑 We've had some great feedback from a London Borough who report that they've seen a reduction in crime of around 50% since installing our Invictus PTZ cameras. Some of the key factors here are: - the introduction of moving cameras to replace statics - effective use of the integrated intelligent white light feature within the Invictus - "Mimic" - a feature within Invictus which gives the impression there's an operator behind the camera at all times, perfect when you've got more cameras than humans! We'll be sharing more information about how 360 Vision Technology Ltd's solutions are helping to disrupt and deter crime in public spaces at the Association of Security Consultants event CONSEC 24 on 10 October 2024. If you're attending, do head to the 360VTL stand where our Business Development Director Adrian K. will be demonstrating the Invictus and all of the features which make it so much more than the average surveillance camera! If you don't already have your tickets, you can find more information here https://bit.ly/3BaYSEX We'll be posting more on crime prevention in the coming weeks, however if you'd like information in the meantime then simply get in touch with your 360VTL Account Manager or contact us via our website here https://bit.ly/3TJzueW #CONSEC2024 #30thCONSEC #event #UKManufacturing #CCTV #CrimePrevention #InvictusCamera #PTZ #surveillancesolutions #security #publicspace #towncentres

🛠️Getting down to the nuts and bolts - a nerdy post for all those CCTV installers out there!🛠️ ❓Why do 360 Vision Technology Ltd include a fixing kit containing M8 Geomet® 500 coated stainless steel bolts and fibre washers with every single ruggedised Predator or Invictus camera you buy? ❓And why do we have M6 bolt kits available too? When it comes to installing metal CCTV cameras, one of the really important decisions you can make is choosing the right bolts. Using the wrong type can lead to a hidden but costly problem— galvanic corrosion. We know, it sounds like a fancy science term, but it's a real issue that can wreak havoc on your outdoor security system! In simple terms, galvanic corrosion occurs when two different metals come into contact in the presence of an electrolyte - you know, like the wet weather we can get here in the UK, particularly near to the sea! Should any inadvertently exposed aluminium from your camera body and perhaps steel bolts you're using interact with that conductive water, a tiny electrical current flows between them and causes the aluminium to corrode much faster than it would on its own. Over time, this corrosion weakens the structural integrity of your installation and could even lead to camera failure, not to mention it might look a little unsightly! 🌟That’s where Geomet® 500 bolts become the stars of the show!🌟 Geomet® 500 bolts are coated with a special layer that ensures bimetallic compatibility with aluminum alloys prevents this type of corrosion, helping to ensure that your aluminium cameras stay secure and corrosion-free for years. By choosing the right bolts from the start, you’re not just saving yourself from future headaches—you’re also protecting your investment in a high-quality security system. And this is why we supply these bolts for you! We mentioned M6 bolts above. Ever tried to install a new camera on an existing pole which housed a legacy camera and discovered the bolt holes are too small for the usual M8 bolts? Yeah, most of you will know that one. But don't sweat the small stuff - just order a 360-CP-IK-M6 from us and you're good to go with M6 Geomet® 500 coated stainless steel bolts also in the box! 😈The devil is definitely in the detail and sometimes it's the smallest things that make the biggest differences. 😈 Want to know more about our range of UK designed and built ruggedised surveillance cameras? Maybe integrated long-range IR or thermal or radar detection may pique your interest! 🎵 “I see a black camera and I want to paint it red … “🎵 No problem, we can do that for you. Actually, when you buy a ruggedised PTZ Predator or Invictus camera from 360 Vision Technology Ltd, we can paint it any RAL colour you like - and apparently there are over 2000 colours on the RAL chart to choose from! The images here show some examples of what we’ve done for clients previously (L-R anti-clockwise): 🖌️Predator thermal PTZ in camouflage wrap – can you see it hiding in the trees? No? Good, that’s the point! 🖌️Invictus PTZ in a bespoke green to match the requirements of English Heritage’s Transit Shed on Exeter Quayside 🖌️Invictus PTZ camera at the entrance of the Manchester Corn Exchange, painted in a bespoke RAL colour to fit sympathetically and aesthetically blend in with the beautiful old Edwardian heritage building which dates back to 1837 🖌️Predator in pillar box red to match the door that Mick was probably talking about before he decided to “Paint It Black” Whether you want your security camera to stand out like a Belisha beacon, or to match your corporate brand or team colours, or to discretely blend in as it does its surveillance job discretely in the background, we can produce our Predator and Invictus cameras your way! So now you know that your security cameras don't need to live in a black, white or grey world - how about bringing them to life? Give a shout to your 360 Vision Technology Account Manager to speak about ideas and options, or get in touch via the website here https://lnkd.in/dvagA5Ei PS - with thanks to The Rolling Stones for lyrical and image inspiration here! 💋👅 #SecurityTechnology #InvictusCamera #PredatorCamera #360VisionTechnology #SecurityInnovation #PTZ #Utilities #SurveillanceTechnology #CCTV #RuggedisedPTZ #UKManafacturing #Security #Innovation #CrimePrevention #Technology #CCTV #Surveillance #CovertSurveillance #branding #brandawareness
