Meet Andrew 🔎 We sat down with Andrew who told us more about himself (maybe a bit too much?) What does a normal day for you look like👇 I get up at 6 am, go for a 5km run, get back at 6.30 and make my breakfast (crushed avocado and vine-grown tomato on focaccia with a cup of matcha) then go through my daily skincare and hygiene routine before heading out. I drop my kids off a school and college then head into the office. I spend most working days in the office although I do work from home on occasion and enjoy the balance and flexibility afforded me a 6 Engineering. I finish at around 5 pm at which point I leave the office and head home to follow my other passion which is collecting different forms of moss that grow on rolling stones while watching paint dry. What is 6 Engineering’s aim👇 We want to be recognised for delivering the best in class processes and functional safety consultancy. We want to develop the next generation of process safety engineers by exposing early career staff to real-world projects and involving them in the development of solutions so that they can apply the knowledge they have gained during their studies. Your main responsibilities👇 Client engagement, lead generation and proposal writing, through to project delivery management including reviewing and finalising project output. I lead our marketing strategy including interactions with the member networks we support and I am responsible for arranging new service agreements with our key clients. What does the future bring for the company and/or yourself👇 I see #6Engineering continuing to follow our growth plan, broadening our service portfolio to include consultancy in the net zero and carbon reduction sector. What does the future have in store for us?👀 In the last 2 years, 6 Engineering has been on a rapid journey of growth. We have moved from a 6-person team in Stokesley to a 15-strong team based in the engineering services hub at Preston Farm, Stockton.
