  • We supported Popcorn with their Babybel campaign for Red Nose Day!   To mark Red Nose Day (March 21st), Babybel transformed Manchester's Market Square with a giant ball pit filled with 65,000 red balls to give some child-like fun to adults passing by. Hidden branded balls added to the enjoyment - as with each one found it meant an extra £1 donation for the charity. TV personality Chloe Burrows also joined in to get the crowds involved.   It comes after OnePoll research revealed 42 per cent of adults have forgotten how to have fun, with 42 revealed as the age this stops.   The study also wanted to find out if Brits believed there to be a correlation between fun and doing good, which 43 per cent agreed with - and 41 per cent even said they would be more likely to take part in charitable or community activities if it was something that amused them.   Key findings revealed: ⏳28% say lack of time holds them back from having fun ⚡27% struggle with low energy 💼23% blame work commitments for getting in the way   Where did this story land? 🔥 Across print and digital in the Daily Express, Mirror, Star, Sun, and tons of regional outlets!   Huge shoutout to PinPep and our video team for creating wonderful assets to support the campaign.

This week’s #FridayTeamShoutOut goes to Xanthe Constantinou. Xanthe has joined the 72PointPlay team as a Junior Account Executive, having recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Sociology. When she’s not at work she loves exploring new places and hitting the gym. Xanthe has already impressed us with her drive, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. She is a fantastic addition to the team and we can’t wait to see her grow!

"As a parent of a huge Peppa Pig fan, I was thoroughly entertained by the news, but didn’t quite realise how even those who don’t have to sit through episode after episode of muddy puddles and dinosaurs were also invested. "The success of this campaign in just a handful of days got me thinking how perhaps brands and PR agencies are better off going down the fictional character route when thinking of spokespeople and ambassadors."
