🌊 Exciting News from Sci-Tech Daresbury! 🌊 A2O Technology Group and Axentia Group have come together as A2O Manufacturing to support the development of a leading UK based prototype for GT Wings . GT Wings have developed their AirWing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the shipping sector.   A2O Manufacturing have provided engineering support to the programme working with the manufacturing supply chain to optimise the design for manufacture. Highlights of the GT Wings prototype: - Focus on sustainable materials made in the UK. - Prototype trials later this year, with an Atlantic voyage to the Canadian Great Lakes planned for December. 🌍 - Aiming to impact over 23,000 ships and oil tankers globally. 🚢GT Wings partners with A2O Manufacturing Ltd & KS Composites for AirWing™ Technology We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with A2O Manufacturing Ltd and KS Composites for the production of our groundbreaking AirWing™ technology. 🌬 Our wind propulsion system, designed for commercial shipping, aims to cut fuel consumption and carbon emissions by up to 30%, helping ship owners meet stringent EU and IMO environmental standards while achieving substantial fuel savings. The first installation will be on a Carisbrooke Shipping 124-meter general cargo vessel in Q4 2024, marking a significant milestone for the validation of the AirWing™.
