Lots of positive feedback from our second CPD event of the year. Kindly organised and hosted by Gary Sleator in the impressive boardroom of Aberdeeen's Edinburgh offices, with EYCO sponsoring the drinks later. A very interesting macroeconomic briefing from David Scott, with Neil Granger of TFT offering us a fly through on key ESG issues and finally a heads up from Alan McDonald of Freeths, on the proposed changes to the Scottish law on tacit relocation / automatic lease renewal rights. We do try to ensure that our CPD is insightful, bespoke and relevant. We think our attendees agreed. The next Scottish CPD will be in September. Membership renewals will be issued next week !

Your insights were invaluable! And of course, a big shoutout to Greg Westover for making it all happen.

On a busy day for us, we were excited launch our rebrand yesterday and also announced that Craig Wilson of EYCO will be the new Chair of Accessible Retail. Craig is the current Depute Chair and is excited to take over from James Hamilton in the new year. The Board would like to extend their gratitude to James and also to his co-chair James Honeyman, who left the role in September. Along with the other Board members, they have overseen a rise in membership and an increase in the frequency and quality of events. Thank you both !
