🧸 We are delighted to share our much-loved ‘Donate a Bear for Christmas’ campaign. 🧸Many families find comfort in donating Aching Arms bears and feel it’s a special way of remembering their baby at Christmas. 🧸When you donate a bear through our Christmas campaign, your baby’s name will be added to our beautiful ‘Robins Appear’ graphic, which will be shared across our social media. This year, we’re delighted to be able to include your baby’s full name and special date. 🧸Give the gift of comfort and support this Christmas, and let another bereaved family know they are not alone. 🧸 Please donate here: https://lnkd.in/dRHeeQ_M

About us
Aching Arms is a charity that provides comfort and support to those who have lost a baby during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after. Our Vision: To bring comfort and support to bereaved families across the UK, for as long as they need us. Our Mission: To raise awareness of the impact of baby loss, both in health settings and the wider community, by working with health professionals and employers to ensure all bereaved families receive high-quality care, and through the gift of an Aching Arms Bear and the support available via Supporting Arms find comfort and support for their emotional and mental wellbeing. We work with over 170 hospitals across the UK to offer our bears as a comforter to parents and their families. Our bears ensure parents know they are not alone and provide an essential link to the support services available to parents after the death of a baby. We also send our comfort bears to bereaved parents who contact us directly via our website, email or social media platforms. “It’s not just a bear, it’s like someone walking up to you and holding your hand through your darkest days. I treasure my bear. It brings a kind of comfort that no-one else can” "Mine has been a real comfort to me and makes me smile as I share mine with my little boy, so happy times as well as sadness" “As a man, I honestly couldn't have imagined a bear meaning that much to me, after all, it's not a male thing, right? Our daughter passed away shortly after she was born. We were given an Aching Arms bear at the hospital. I remember how touched I felt when we received it and how tightly my wife clenched onto it as we left the hospital. We knew we weren't alone and we weren't leaving totally empty-handed. Our bear, Grace, has become a loved member of our family”.
