Yesterday we brought together marketing and communications representatives from across the #ActivePartnerships network for a day of discussion, networking, learning, and sharing in #Birmingham. Thank you to everyone who attended and a special thanks to our speakers who included Nicky Hawkins and the campaigns and place teams at Sport England.

Working with partners to make an active lifestyle the norm for everyone
About us
Our core purpose is to create the conditions for an active nation. There are 43 Active Partnerships across England who work collaboratively with local partners to create the conditions for an active nation using the power of sport and physical activity to transform lives. Active Partnerships are strategic organisations that recognise activity levels are affected by a complex system of influences and no single organisation or programme create sustainable change at scale. So by adopting a collaborative whole system approach, Active Partnerships seek to make active lifestyles the social norm for everyone and address the worrying levels of inactivity in society. The Active Partnerships national team leads, represents and supports the nationwide network of Active Partnerships and supports them to collaborate, sustain, add value and deliver impact. We are a charitable company and have a federated structure. You can find details of your local Active Partnership at www.ActivePartnerships.org

It's #SocialPrescribingDay💖 Social Prescribing helps people, including those living with long-term conditions, to get support for non-medical issues such as loneliness, debt, housing or inactivity. That's why we are encouraging people living with long term health conditions who may be finding it hard to start their physical activity journey to seek the support from a Social Prescribing Link Worker across our channels today👇 We are proud to work alongside National Academy for Social Prescribing and various Active Partnerships networks to encourage Social Prescribing Link Workers to consider leveraging We Are Undefeatable assets, insights and resources when supporting people with health conditions to move more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eQwWwcG5

Earlier this month, colleagues from across the sport and physical activity sector gathered at King Power Stadium for the Multi-Sport Connect, Learn & Network Event. The day provided a key opportunity for partners to exchange insights, strengthen collaborations, and explore the future of multi-sport initiatives. The event was organised by partners including the Active Partnerships National Organisation, Sport England, the Football Foundation, the LTA, England Netball and a regional lead from the #ActivePartnerships network.
