Updates

  • Sport and physical activity for all: a conversation about safety, inclusion, and anti-racism🌟 In light of the Southport stabbings and subsequent rise in racism and violence, and with Active Gloucestershire’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion across the sport and physical activity sector, we recognise the vital role we play in fostering a safe and supportive space for our partners and communities. This will be a safe and supportive space where questions and curiosity are encouraged; there is no expectation to have all the answers or to know everything about these subjects, just a willingness to listen and learn together. If you have concerns, worries or just want to connect with others, I encourage you to come along. Event Details: Date: Wednesday, 28th August Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm Location: Final details will be confirmed upon booking If you would like to attend, please email kirstydunleavy@activegloucestershire.org. You’ll receive further information and location confirmation in response. We encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues, friends, and others within your network. This is a critical and timely topic, and it’s essential that we all take action together. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We hope to see you there as we collectively strengthen our commitment to racial equality and inclusivity. #ActiveGloucestershire #WeCanMove
