What a fantastic week last week in Seville for the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) congress 🎉 Acurable was well represented by members of both our commercial and research teams, who enjoyed the opportunity to connect with sleep experts, clinicians and industry professionals from across the world. It was also a lovely chance to catch up with our Spanish team in Acurable's European home city 😊 And that's not all - fresh off the plane from Spain, Orsina and Leanne headed straight to Nottingham to attend the ARTP Advanced Sleep Course earlier this week. 🇪🇸 Si lleva tiempo siguiendo a AcuPebble, ya conocerá nuestro innovador dispositivo médico wereable para el diagnóstico automático de la apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS). Validado clínicamente frente a la poligrafía respiratoria domiciliaría (PG) y también frente a la polisomnografía (PSG), AcuPebble ofrece diagnósticos automáticos precisos sin necesidad de marcar manualmente los canales. Pero esto es sólo el principio 🚀 Un reciente artículo publicado en el Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI demuestra que AcuPebble también puede utilizarse para monitorizar de forma cómoda y precisa el esfuerzo respiratorio durante el sueño. Conocer el esfuerzo respiratorio es un muy importante a la hora de diagnosticar la apnea del sueño y otros trastornos respiratorios durante el sueño, pero las técnicas de monitorización actuales pueden resultar incómodos e interferir en el sueño natural del paciente 🛌 El estudio comentado en el artículo valida los canales acústicos de esfuerzo respiratorio extraídos por AcuPebble frente a las mediciones de las bandas de pletismografía de inductancia respiratoria (RIP), el patrón de referencia para la medición del esfuerzo respiratorio.
