The student council has been working alongside Cheshire East Council’s Inclusion and Quality team since June to organise their annual SEND conference for professionals in education, health and social care and all SEND pupils in Cheshire East. The workshops included topics such as Preparing for Adulthood, Inclusion and Wellbeing. Adelaide pupils lead various activities throughout the day including introduction and closing speeches, teambuilding exercises and ice breakers. All pupils demonstrated fantastic leaderships skills and teamwork. A fantastic experience for our young people to develop essential life skills and friendships were made along the day. We are proud of you!

We have been fortunate to have the Construction Simulator on site for a second year. This was very popular with pupils last year and many of them had asked if we get it back again. What an amazing way for pupils to learn all about the skills needed for careers in construction. Huge thanks to Jack Rowley Fellow CICES and The Cheshire & Warrington Pledge Partnership for making this possible.
