About us
Advantage Healthcare is a leading UK home healthcare provider, managing the care for individuals with a broad range of healthcare needs. Our services are provided by nurses and carers and include live-in care, palliative care and complex care. Service users range from babies and young children to the elderly. Advantage Healthcare operates through a national network of branches, with a central services office controlling key functions such as sales, marketing, recruitment, training, clinical and quality assurance. The branch network is essential in providing local points of contact for both commissioners and workers, and it is the branches who are at the forefront of our service delivery. All of our care packages have clinical input which is essential in securing complex package wins and is a key part of winning the confidence of the patient and their family.

Our client James, with the help of his care professional, Vicki and his friends climbed Mount Snowden this weekend. James had a specialised wheelchair made for the occasion. 2024 marks 11 years since James' spinal injury. To mark the occasion, James and his friends wanted to take part in "The Push 2024" and they have raised over £9,000. James says "Through our involvement in this project, we hope to ignite hope, empower individuals with spinal cord injuries, and promote understanding and support for this important cause". https://lnkd.in/eFHF_aTN #snowdon #charity #spinalinjury #inspiration #care #complexcare #WeAreCCH

Welcome Shelley #WeAreCCH
Let's give a warm welcome to Shelley, our new Complex Community Nurse. "I started my caring career many years ago in community and homebased care, specifically in EMI units. I went on to work and teach in pre-hospital emergency care as well as playing the role as a live casualty for training on-site medics at power plants. This was a lot of fun and I always managed to barter chocolates in exchange for making my signs and symptoms more obvious for them, haha! I decided to do my Nurse Training in 2008, and after a maternity break I completed my degree in Nursing in 2014. I worked a short period specialising in acute strokes then spent the last 9 years in intensive care, covering surgeries and emergencies for most specialities. I recently returned from 8 months living and working in the Middle East. I loved it out there! I am looking forward to combining my caring roots with my nursing knowledge in this new Complex Community Nurse role." Welcome Shelley, we're glad to have you as part of the team! #WeAreCCH
