🗞 We've been featured in Highways News. 📰 The article discusses the recent implementation of the 20mph speed limit in Wales, and the additional ways in which Route Konnect can help improve road safety. Did you know: 🚥 We can use our advanced AI to process footage of road users (anonymously), to create visual maps of road user movements that can help show up any dangerous activity. 🚥 Route Konnect are working towards using our AI, computer-vision based solution to improve traffic flows on a city-wide basis. By using the data from permanent, junction-mounted cameras to control traffic lights and linking junctions together you can see improvements in travel times, while also reducing congestion and pollution. 🚥 The inductive loop systems currently used in many traffic lights often fails to pick up cyclists, e-scooters and pedestrians, something that is inadequate for the shifting landscape of today's needs, where councils are encouraging active travel. Route Konnect's above-ground solution using 'virtual loops' will mean all road users can be detected at junctions.
