DNACPR decisions are about whether CPR should be given to someone if their heart stops beating and their breathing stops. This can be a difficult topic to think about. However, thinking about what we would want to happen, and talking about this with those that we are close to, means that we can still be involved in these decisions, even if we become unwell. The last quarter was another busy term for us at Advocacy Focus. We received 1,389 new referrals into the service, and we supported a total of 3,775 people to speak up and be listened to.
