Ever since the long running cooking show jumped ship from BBC and into the loving arms commercial television, The Great British Bake Off has consistently been one Channel 4's top rated offerings. The 15th series debut episode is currently Channel 4's most watched programme of 2024, with 6.4 million viewers according to figures from Barb Audiences. While the numbers don't match C4's first edition back in 2017 (8.7 million) this year's viewing figures are still robust for the channel.
