🎤 Big Week for AF Live! 🎤 5 shows in 5 days, culminating in an unforgettable finale at the iconic, sold-out Wembley Stadium 🏟️. From providing audio for the grand arrivals at Leicester Square, the open workout at Wembley Arena, and the press conference at the Guildhall 🏛️, it was non-stop action. Friday saw the build at Wembley Stadium while also delivering audio for the Faguni Pathak concert at the OVO Wembley Arena. Then, the main event 🥊 with an exciting undercard and the AJ vs. Dubois showdown, topped off by Liam Gallagher's performance 🎶. We proudly deployed L-Acoustics Kara systems throughout fight week, and the large-format K2 system brought Wembley Stadium to life 🔊. In just under 11 hours, we transformed the space into Buckingham Palace, complete with a Royal Guard, full AV production, and flawless execution. From initial concept and design to fabrication and installation, we made it happen in just 7 days! The event, held at the Vertu Motors Arena, was a resounding success, featuring a stellar lineup of fighters and dramatic showdowns that lived up to the hype. The main card, headlined by a highly anticipated bout between MFB Middleweight champion Elle Brooke and Jenny Savage did not disappoint. In a stunning display of skill and strategy, Elle Brooke retained her MFB women's middleweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Jenny Savage in a match that will be remembered as one of the highlights of the year. This time last week we headed to Dublin for the Misfits X-Series at a sold out 3Arena. The headline fight saw premier league winner Danny Simpson step into the boxing world to take on Danny Aarons. We also showcased two musical performances from YouTube sensation KSI. Working alongside Arena Video, we provided full AV services throughout the entire fight week, including the open training, press conference, and weigh-in. AF Live has managed the technical production for Boomtown festival since its inception, and working with their team has always been an exciting challenge. We are so proud of what the team delivered for 2024, with their creativity and dedication once again resulting in an incredible show! We manage technical production by designing and delivering site-wide creative lighting, audiovisual design, and procurement for the 14 main stages, along with artist advancing and backline orders. We also work closely with the noise management consultants and oversee the audio for all 100 venues across the site. We were thrilled to provide our L-Acoustics stock for the Grand Central main stage, Zenith, and Nexus arenas this year. In collaboration with Solotech, we also delivered the epic Origin stage, featuring a D&B Audio GSL/KSL system. We'd like to extend a huge thanks to all our incredible suppliers (in no particular order): Liteup, GLS, Wingnut, Solotech, Laser Graphics, Video Illusions, LGFX, IMAG, PF Events, Production Audio, Amber Audio, NSL Productions, Wolf Lighting, City & Moon, Reach Lasers, and Aardvark. Last week, AF Live provided audio support for three main stages at the Glastonbury Festival. A highlight was supplying the multipoint soundfield for Arcadia's new Dragonfly structure. We deployed an L-Acoustics L2 system for the main arrays, using a mix of Kara and Kiva for additional fills and delays, reinforced with KS28 and KS21 subs. The result was an immersive sound experience that entertained 50,000 revelers at peak moments. We received fantastic feedback on the system and sound quality this year. A big thanks to the AF team - Bryan Mclean, Sergiy Zytnikov, and Sergey Becker - for their work on the design.
