We’re thrilled to announce that, three months ahead of schedule, we’ve hit our fundraising target for 2024! Having raised over £12,000 for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and with AFH kindly matching our efforts, our colleagues have smashed our fundraising efforts for this very worthy cause. From charity football matches to daring zip wires, staff at AFH have put their all into raising funds to help support those living with MND. With three months left to go before the end of the year, we’ve set ourselves a new challenge to raise £30,000 for MNDA in 2024. Thank you so much to all who have helped organise events, taken part or contributed.

Paying too much tax when you access your pension could reduce the level of income you’re able to take from it, which in turn could reduce your retirement lifestyle. Worse still, overpaying tax could mean you inadvertently deplete your pension pot early, which could put your long-term financial security at risk. Read on to discover three common ‘tax traps’ and why working with a financial adviser could help you sidestep an unexpected tax charge : https://ow.ly/eSLZ50TmcrQ

The good news is that many of us with underperforming pensions might be able to take steps to get them back on track.
