#ICYMI This time last week, Agent HQ was transformed as we welcomed 120 senior business leaders to our Labour Party Conference Fringe Event, in partnership with vocL The night was a celebration of the future of business for our region, and a strong demonstration of our commitment to making 'powerfully good work' 🎉 A big thank you again to Juergen Maier CBE FRS FREng, Chair of GB Energy and Lucy Powell MP (Manchester Central), leader of the House of Commons for delivering enlightening keynote speeches, giving us a flavour of what this new government has planned for the future of sustainable and responsible businesses across the UK. See how the night went 👇

Our sister organisation, Agent Academy held a warm reception for the Member of the House of Lords, Baroness Jones of Whitchurch 👇
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Baroness Jones, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Future Digital Economy and Online Safety to Agent Academy. Baroness Jones met with our Director, Zoe Wallace (she/her) and Head of Programmes, Samantha Quinn, and learnt about our industry designed and delivered approach to upskilling future talent! The Baroness then met with our latest cohort and learnt about their work with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Race Equality Hub, and how working on a real-world challenge will make sure our learners are ready to add value in their future jobs. Stay-tuned for an upcoming blog, sharing our more detailed thoughts on the importance of this visit. A huge thank you to Baroness Jones for meeting with us and sharing your kind words of support, about the vital work we’re doing at Agent Academy. Another very special night Agent as last night we partnered up with the fantastic team vocL to host over 120 influential, senior leaders at a very special Labour Party Conference fringe event. We heard from inspiring speakers including our very own CEO Paul Corcoran who talked about the importance of Powerfully Good Work and the significance of realising the role we can all play in shaping our world for the better - as always, leading from the front, Paul. The room was filled with like minded people and businesses such as the always exceptional Juergen Maier CBE FRS FREng. It was a pleasure to hear from Lucy Powell MP (Manchester Central) who spoke about the importance of Government working with businesses to create a better society. Samantha Quinn from Agent Academy was the perfect host for our lightning talks from the brilliant Jane Gaston, Cathrine Scowcroft, Sion Lewis and Andrew Gall. Thank you to Relish for providing the food and drinks. And certainly last but not least, the incredible Agent team for pulling together another remarkable event. I will forever be proud of this team and what we stand for as an organisation. #PowerfullyGoodWork

What a night at Agent HQ! ✨ Our space was transformed and we welcomed such exceptional guests and speakers to share ideas on responsible business - a topic close to our hearts! I loved hearing from Lucy Powell MP (Manchester Central), Leader of the House of Commons, who spoke with candour and passion about her commitment to driving meaningful change and responsible legislation — refreshing! A special thanks to Juergen Maier CBE FRS FREng and our very own Paul Corcoran, both incredible leaders who consistently take action and instigate transformation in everything they do. And to Agent Academy's head of programmes, Samantha Quinn with her amazing panel of business voices — Jane Gaston, Cathrine Scowcroft, Sion Lewis, and Andrew Gall — who brought to life the world of responsible business from across sectors and perspectives. Wonderful insights all around! Finally, none of this would have been possible without the amazing support from our partners and friends at vocL and our outstanding Agent and Agent Academy teams! Let's keep the connections and discussion going with the Government to shape the future of UK business! #PowerfullyGoodWork #ThePlaceForFutureTalent
