Celebrating a great season with our partners at SailGP 🌊⛵ At the Season 4 Grand Final, we provided the final event with low-carbon HVO biofuel and advanced energy storage systems in San Francisco, helping the event reduce emissions and set a new benchmark for the world’s most exciting race on water. When it comes to governance, we’re never complacent. As with everything we do at Aggreko, we’re always looking at our performance and how we can improve. That’s why we benchmark ourselves against quality frameworks like ISO, CDP and UN Global Compact. It’s how we identify gaps where we can do better. For example, we began reporting our climate change and supplier engagement performance to CDP in 2016. This helped us identify areas for continuous improvement on climate issues. The expertise behind our energy solutions is what makes Aggreko unique. That’s why we have such a strong emphasis on developing the next generation of talent. In 2023, we ran apprenticeship schemes in 11 countries – from Dubai to the UK to Côte d'Ivoire. These trainees will become our future technicians and managers because we believe in growing talent from within. And our focus on lifelong learning is why we collectively spent 6,697 hours doing on-demand training, through 5,359 courses, watching 135,849 learning videos. From the intense heat to the thrilling roar of the engines, we were there every step of the way. Our solutions ensured reliable and uninterrupted power with optimal cooling, allowing South Florida Motorsports to run their 3-day event flawlessly. Our Tier 4F generators and cooling solutions supported hospitality areas, food and beverage venues, broadcasting, and more… from start to finish. Reaching net zero requires strong partnerships. At Aggreko, we know from our own experience the importance of supplier partnerships to secure reliable clean energy and reduce costs. That’s why our ‘accelerating transition’ plan integrates both decarbonising our own facilities, and delivering sustainable solutions to our customers. For example, when we developed our decarbonisation plans for our manufacturing facility in Dumbarton, we learned that we needed a combination of energy solutions to achieve the optimal solution, balancing resilience with emission and cost reductions.
