As meet-ups go, this one was right up there! Last night Agile London & Oliver Bernard were hosted by The Football Association at Wembley Stadium where, in addition to pizzas, we got to see the largest stadium in the UK, and second largest in Europe (behind Camp Nou), in all it's glory, packed with Agile enthusiasts...! If the above wasn't enough, we also heard some fantastic talks from Cormac Kennedy, Beks Yelland & Sheetal Thaker (who stepped in to speak at a moments notice). Three highly-engaging talks, which drew some great questions from our audience. Special thanks to Cormac Kennedy for arranging this one, it's not easy, and to everyone who came along, it's great to see so many people sharing such interest in topics around Agile. We're up next in November with Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, keep an eye out for updates! If you would like to host Agile London or Product London in 2025, I am taking bookings, so do reach out! Last Friday was the end of the 4 week Digital (Tech) T-level industry placement supported by Argus Media. We remember conversations with Caroline Loubert, Andrew Godfrey and Jon Peterson started back in May 2023 about a collaboration and it went along the lines of "we love the talks and insight days you're doing, we would love to do something longer, something impactful" ...and so just over a year later we have had Karolina Kamionka Rona Nteeba Gainelle Sarmiento and Nyashadzashe Zinyuke from Ursuline High School Wimbledon join the team at Argus Media for 4 weeks as full-time apprentices. 🙌 This is a major contribution to their 45-day mandatory company placement they need to get their qualification! At the age of 16/17, the students have gained invaluable insight across tech including: 🗞 Different roles across Product Management, UX Design, Engineering, QA, Service desk. 🐞 They found a software bug in their first week! 😯 They've been surprised about how similar their course content is to the real world ↗ Different pathways people took to get into tech 👍 👎 What jobs they like and what they don't want to do! ...and outside of the above, they loved how friendly, welcoming and supportive the team are and will miss you (and the pool table 🎱 ) Thank you to everyone at Argus Media for this unforgettable opportunity 👏👏 Meltem Dincer Tunde Jinadu Theodora Winful Naushine Robinson Assoc CIPD Halima Bhayat Oliver Bernard

Given the lure of sitting in a rooftop bar and enjoying the weather, we had a solid turnout last night for our event with Skyscanner! Katie Andrews, with her talk on "A Bake of Guide to Delivery" discussed whether your teams are delivering show-stopping value or facing a technical challenge! Jack Spencer discussed "Introducing Skyscanner to Systems Thinking" Providing tools and ideas that enable colleagues to see local optimisations and think more deeply about future changes. Two fantastic talks that really engaged the audience! Thank you to all that attended and keep an eye out for our next event, more details soon! Alex Scriven, Jessica Keightley, Oliver Bernard
