🌟Meet my boys and how cool do the Kits look 🌟 2 massive thank you's go to 👇 Firstly, Gina Samuel-Richards and Ruth Goward of AGR Law Ltd who sponsored our white kit to the right giving the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club feel much to the pleasure of my players 🤣 and secondly Ravi Singh of Oadby Estates for sponsoring the Navy kit to the left. (went for the French national team look) As the manager of Beaumont Park FC U10s, I am proud of what we have achieved as a team and continued the new season very strong and now we look the part thanks to our sponsors Now in my 16th year as a coach 👀 😱 and I still love it, helping kids grow in sport and as individuals to help realise their dreams and to keep them on track. Nothing more rewarding.

Well that was a fun evening! October is when we celebrate Black History Month here in the UK. Tonight, the Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage opened their exhibition at The Leicester Gallery titled "100 Black Women Who Have Made a Mark", a project to highlight the achievements Black Women have had in Britain. It was incredible! Organised by Pawlet Brookes, MBE, the event brought together 5 artists who collaborated to create a portraiture for each person on the list. They are: Gayle Ebose Lauryn Pinard Grace Lee Valerie Asiimwe Amani Yvadney Davis No mean feat but they completely and utterly smashed it!!! It was an honour to be in a space that was celebrating the achievements of Black Women from all walks of life, in diverse fields like art, science, philanthropy, public service, the law, and on and on! Speaking of "the law", that brings us to one of the people being celebrated. The wonderful Gina S. was one of the 100 impactful Black Women being honoured tonight! Gina's piece was created by the visual artist and writer Valerie Asiimwe Amani. The end result is out of this world! Wow Wow Wow! The picture doesn't do it justice, but the layers and textures in the finished piece are bonkers! Check it out in person if you can! One last thing. Firstly, we don't celebrate people enough. This is NOT about participation trophies! This is about noticing people who do astonishing things and telling them in the moment! So when people have impacted, helped, inspired, or somehow made your life better, don't be shy about letting them know. Secondly, when someone wants to "give you your flowers" try to contain your instinct to play it down. You did something amazing, so accept the plaudits - you earned them! Shout out to Pawlet Brookes, MBE for giving many of these 105 women the chance to receive the adulation they deserve but don't often get 🙏🏾 OK. Time to go and stare at this picture some more 😊 P.S.
