Our shopping list spans from protein powder to chocolate, highlighting the diverse priorities of our team. As we enter the second half of the year, we are preparing to host 10 Strategy Forums for over 1,000 senior leaders from both the public and private sectors. The Ah!Media team is back in the office this morning, sporting questionable tan lines and feeling the post-vacation blues. 🌵 🌍 🌞    Last Thursday we ventured to sunny Marrakesh, seizing the chance to bond by the pool with colleagues and cocktails in hand.  🌊 🍹 🍸 The last 4 days have been spent in a gorgeous Moroccan villa, where we have enjoyed a range of traditional cuisine, late night swims and competitive sporting activities.  🍲 🏖 🌞 In true Ah!Media style there were themed evenings, including a charity shop shirt swap night that saw us dressed as builders, penguins, and dinosaurs. 🐧 👷♂️ 👒 Across the 4 days we ventured out to explore the very best Marrakesh had to offer. Some of the team ticked off not one, but two bucket list activities in just one day as they flew over the Atlas Mountains in a hot air balloon and trekked through the desert on camels. 🐪 🌵⛰ Others took on the sand dunes, racing across the sun baked terrain on quad bikes and those who were more interested in the cultural offerings explored the vibrant realms of the souks. 👛 🌞 🏜 A massive thank you to Farhan Ahmed for an amazing holiday, the team are now ready to take on the second half of the year starting with Enterprise IT Strategy Forum and Customer Experience Strategy Forum.

Keeping Up With The Ah!Medians! Our Ah!Media team successfully delivered our Police Strategy Forum this week, marking the conclusion of our Q2 events and the exciting beginning of our summer activities. What better way to kick off summer than in the beautiful, sun-soaked city of Marrakesh?  As we look forward to next week, we're excited to trade our office desks for sunbeds and the refreshing poolside at our stunning villa. The holiday kicks off early next Thursday with a 4am start at Ahmedia HQ. During our getaway, we're eagerly anticipating the array of games and activities lined up for us, including an exciting obstacle course. It's Coming Home ! 📢 ⚽ Today, the Ah!Media team embraced the football spirit by holding a sweepstake for the upcoming Euros starting next week. The draw stirred emotions, especially among Ah!Media's biggest football fans, as they watched their favourites quickly disappear (sorry Daniel Wilcox, you can't win them all). The banter and friendly rivalry has already kicked off, with some good-natured bribing for England taking place. Recognising this, over the past two weeks, all of us here at Ahmedia have made a group effort to broaden our horizons by immersing ourselves in the workings of other departments while considering how we can improve the 3 P's (People, Product, Process). By actively listening in on calls and taking the time to learn about each department's unique processes and challenges, we've unearthed valuable insights and identified areas where we can contribute to enhanced business efficiencies and improved revenue generation. Yesterday afternoon, buoyed by this newfound knowledge, Team Ice, Fire, Lightning, and Kangaroo (yes, you guessed it, we have an Australian colleague!) came together to present our many innovative ideas. But it didn't stop there – we turned it into a healthy competition, injecting some fun into the mix with the added incentive of a chance to win dinner at a top-end restaurant. Through these presentations, we didn't just highlight solutions that benefit individual teams; we underscored their potential impact on the broader business landscape. It's through this collective effort and shared vision that we're poised to achieve greater heights of success and drive positive change across the organisation. 2023... That’s a wrap!  As we bid farewell to 2023, Ah!Media proudly presents our highlight reel! This year marked the debut of several exciting additions to our forum format including 'Strategy Night Live', offering a refreshing icebreaker experience to get to know the speakers and hear from our celebrity guest keynotes, from explorers to athletes, inspiring the audience in preparation for the main day.  Additionally, our new pre-forum remote 1-2-1 meetings turned digital handshakes into meaningful conversations, laying the groundwork for engaging interactions and purposeful follow-ups on the main event day.  This year, we've hosted 18 Strategy Forums and one inspiring award ceremony in locations up and down the country, including London's prestigious Dorchester Hotel. Bringing together senior leaders from public sector organisations and multinational companies, our events showcased presentations on challenges and successes, shedding light on new technologies and solutions poised to shape industry practices.  And let's not forget our incredible team! Amidst the business of event season, we somehow found time for social activities, staff holidays and team building exercises, proving that we're not just 'event ninjas' but know how to play just as hard as we work. It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas After an afternoon full of tinsel, lights and cupcakes the Ah!media team have turned the office into a Christmas grotto! Sadly, not all staff got the memo about Christmas jumpers but Production and DME made up for it in their matching attire. The festive afternoon kicked off with Nando’s for lunch and then each department started decorating. With some departments looking slightly better than others there was one clear winner… Well done to our DME department for their exceptional efforts on their gingerbread house! Now time for the final push of the year in our newly festive office. With one forum left to deliver in Q4 we can’t wait to welcome our delegates and vendors to the Central Government Strategy Forum forum on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December.
