🌿 Thailand to Host the International Horticulture Expo in a Wetland! The Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 is set for November 1, 2026 – March 14, 2027, under the theme "Diversity of Life: Connecting People, Water, and Plants for Sustainable Living." At the press conference, key officials, including representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Udon Thani Province, AIPH and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, highlighted the expo’s role in showcasing Thailand’s horticulture, driving agricultural innovation, and boosting regional trade and investment. During the AIPH Spring Meeting in Chiang Rai, Thailand, AIPH opened entries for the third edition of the AIPH World Green City Awards – the only global awards for cities where plants and nature are the core focus. The Awards recognise and celebrate bold and innovative action that harnesses the power of plants and nature to create greener, healthier, and more resilient cities. Cities around the world are encouraged to enter their greening initiatives to showcase their achievement and commitment to nature-orientated solutions to address major challenges facing urban environments. “When we look into the future, I believe green cities will be champions,” said Mr. Norasak Suksomboon, Vice Governor of the province of Chiang Rai, at the opening of the AIPH Green City Conference on 11th February 2025. “Not only in Chiang Rai, but across the whole world.
