On Friday, 12th July 2024, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Chris O'Donnell, Managing Director UK. Chris joined Air Logistics in 1999 when ALG was just 5 years old as Sales Manager and took up his current role as Managing Director UK in 2017. He guided the UK operation through the challenges of COVID to be one of the most successful operations within the Air Logistics Group. "In Chris we are very lucky to have a thorough professional, dedicated to both his family at home and at work, caring about his employees, and ensuring he gets the best out of them," comments Stephen Dawkins, CEO, Air Logistics Group, "It has been my pleasure to work with Chris over these 25 years as an employee and friend. I have seen him marry, have children, and mature into the professional he is today. On 14th June 2024, Air Logistics Group celebrated the significant achievement of 20 years of providing GSSA solutions in India. In June 2004, Air Logistics Group’s strategy to open in India became a reality and it launched its Indian head office in Delhi. The specialist Pharma team in Air Logistics Group held its fourth Pharma workshop in Rome on the 21st to 23rd May 2024, and was attended by a number of 'pharma champions' from Italy, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, India, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, alongside the Pharma team from Rome & Nairobi.   The workshop brought together employees from across the network, providing a great opportunity for colleagues to combine and improve their knowledge on the complex pharma supply chain. SkyCell container providers presented their products and solutions, and the team covered numerous topics with presentations and live demos of systems and tools that have been developed as part of the ALG pharma product over the last 6 months.   The participants also enjoyed a delicious lunch, sponsored by SkyCell.   “Our fourth Pharma workshop was another great success" comments Francesco Di Martino, Pharma Development Director, Air Logistics Group, "We continue to develop our pharma platform with the support of our pharma champions across the network, whose expertise and experience help us to build the best possible tool for our customers around the world.”

Air Tahiti Nui appoints Air Cargo Logistics in France & across Europe. Following a rigorous and comprehensive appointment process, Air Tahiti Nui has appointed Air Cargo Logistics as its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in France and across Europe.   The exclusive GSSA agreement took effect on the 15th March 2024 and Air Cargo Logistics will provide full cargo sales, marketing, customer service, administration and operational support across France and Europe.   The new GSSA agreement is a timely development as Air Tahiti recently celebrated 25 years of connecting Polynesia with the rest of the world.   “We are honoured to be Air Tahiti Nui chosen partner to further develop their cargo activities”, comments Myriam Da Costa, Managing Director France, Air Logistics Group, “Air Cargo Logistics shares the same values as Air Tahiti Nui, our commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.” “Air Cargo Logistics is proud to have been chosen by Air Tahiti Nui as its exclusive GSSA in France and some of the largest markets in Europe,” comments Stephen Dawkins, Chief Executive Officer, Air Logistics Group, “We are confident that we can continue to build the Air Tahiti Nui cargo business across the network.”
