Breaking news: FRENCH #cargo #airline #CMACGM #AirCargo is to begin a new #transpacific route – connecting #Asia to #NorthAmerica this summer – utilising its two new B777-200 freighters.     The launch of this “strategic #airfreight route” marks the acceleration of the 2021-founded carrier’s big expansion ambitions, according to a statement.    The first B777 freighter is scheduled for delivery in June and will serve Hong Kong, Chicago and Seoul, whilst the second – to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024 – will connect mainland China to North America. Flights will be operated by third-party #ACMI carrier Atlas Air.    Then, in the first quarter of 2025, CMA CGM #AirCargo will take delivery of a third B777-200F, the statement adds.    Currently, the freight #airline’s fleet comprises two B777Fs and three #A330Fs, based at the Paris Charles de Gaulle (#CdG) hub.
