Spain's government has renewed its #maritime search and rescue (#SAR) contract with #aviation services provider Avincis for another five years. The €305-million agreement will see Avincis continue its SAR operations along the Spanish coastline from 11 bases, working with the Maritime Safety and Rescue Society (SASEMAR). The Iraqi Ministry of Defense has ordered 12 H225M multi-role #helicopters from Airbus to replace its aging Mi-17 fleet.
