Keep an eye out as this morning we fitted another one of our stunning DAF XD 450’s with a roof fairing. Now completing the set at our Kentford site, the fairings will decrease aerodynamic drag when leading our canopy trailers, saving fuel and reducing our carbon footprint. We also think it really makes them look the part… In line with our environmental and sustainability goal, coupled with the features present in the rest of our fleet - telematics, the latest DVS equipment available, and a highly professional team of drivers - our commitment to safety and the environment is always at the forefront of what we do. Steel processed and supplied by AJN Steelstock is used in just about every major industrial and commercial sector. From the automotive industry to schools and hospitals. Around 560 steel sections were cut, drilled and painted at our site in Kentford and supplied for fabrication. The incredibly complex construction then took place on the flood plains of the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. We're hiring! We’re looking for CNC Operators at our Henstridge (Somerset) site. Among other responsibilities, you will operate a selection of manual and CNC based machinery, operate forklifts / CombiLifts and process steel to specific requirements and tolerances. Sometimes steel is the only way… With no other material added, these twin staircases, utilising steel supplied by AJN, will soon be joined by another pair, before being fitted into a private home in London. Left bare, the four flights of staircases will be finished in such a way as to highlight the steel’s natural colours. With the addition of a handrail and LED lighting, we can’t wait to share pictures of the installation with you. Stay tuned for more…

It’s time for a ‘pupdate’ on three of AJN’s Dogs for Good sponsored puppies – Erin, Venus and Lemmy! Erin, now 14 months old, is officially a teenager and developing into a really lovely dog. Erin had a busy summer, visiting Wales and discovering her love of the sand and sea. Currently working with her puppy coordinator, her obedience training is progressing nicely and she is coping very well in busy environments. Venus recently started her first week of official Assistance Dog training! She’s settled in nicely to her new environment, spending lots of time with other four legged friends and loving all the attention she’s getting when everyone tells her how pretty she is. Lemmy, who is now 16 weeks into his training, is now able to push down footplates, retrieve items off the floor, pull off clothes such as jackets or gloves, use access buttons and pull open doors. He deserves all the rest he’s often seen enjoying. Well done Erin, Venus and Lemmy, we look forward to keeping you updated as they progress.

Wow, what a weekend and what a final to the 2024 Bennetts British Superbikes. An amazing end to the season for Max Cook who mixed it up with the front runners all weekend. 2025 is looking seriously exciting for Max 👊 Due to injuries sustained in a crash at Donington at the end of last month, Jason O'Halloran was unable to end his current BSB career the way we wall wanted but it was great to spend some time with him without the pressures of racing. Not just an amazing racer - 278 British Superbike race starts, 75 podium finishes, 28 race wins, 32 pole positions including that historic race three victory at Donington Park earlier in the season - Jason was also a great ambassador for AJN and some great friendships have been forged. We're proud to have supported him for the past couple of years and look forward to following his success in his new challenge next season... All the best Jason.
